Darfield High School is a co-educational, Year 7 to Year 13 school, located in rural Canterbury, New Zealand.

We are a community school providing an environment in which each student is supported to gain the knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary for successful and confident living. There are currently 800 students studying at Darfield High School.

Year 9 and 10 Preformal has been postponed until we are at alert level 1.

COVID 19 Update 

Canterbury has been moved to Alert Level 2. School remains open but we must be careful with our hygiene practices. Remember to wash hands regularly, cough or sneeze into your elbow, avoid touching your face, don’t share food and drinks, and stay home if you are sick. Drinking fountains should not be used however drink bottles can be filled.
